Residents of Vatican City are Big Fans of Shooters, and Hyperdimension Neptunia

We’ve learned a very interesting tidbit of news from The Vatican, or for those unwashed heathens out there, the Roman Catholic city-state that exists within modern day Italy.

It turns out that residents of the Holy See are big fans of Natural Selection 2, a PC first-person shooter mashed up with RTS elements, which launched back in 2012. Much like the name implies, the game features players fighting each other to survive, a literal survival of the fittest.

This game was number one in popularity, according to Steam Spy (a third party that tracks Steam users).

The more hilarious find, however, is that Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 2 Sisters Generation is also right up there with the game, as number two most popular title on Steam.

So, it seems like the clergy are also fans of adorable, anthropomorphized, video game console anime girls.
