Neon is the new black. 10tons Studios, the makers of the solid twin-stick shooter, Crimsonland, have announced their newest game, NeonChrome.
Taking the success and feedback from Crimsonland, the team have created a new, top-down and faced paced cyberpunk shooter, set in the distant future. The game is aimed at an 80’s-like setting, similiar to Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon.
Neon Chrome isn’t just the name of the game but also the setting for the which the game takes place in. Neon Chrome is an arcology, a massive mega-city with thousands of people that serve its citizens through a variety of needs. It is an entirely self-sufficient city, Â all run by the Rooswahl Corporation and its chief entity, the Overseer.
There are shady secrets within however, and it’s up to the player to fight back. Players will use a variety of weapons, including plasma cannons and conversion rays, to take on drones, robots, cyborgs, and a variety of other defenses in an attempt to discover the truth.
NeonChrome arrives on the PS4 later this year.
