We’ve talked about clothing, the gameplay and even the quest system of Warhorse’s upcoming CRPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance, but we haven’t seen much on what a fight would look like. The above trailer aims to fix that.
Besides the graphics being beyond gorgeous and the animation being impressively fluid, I personally wonder if the “in the helmet view” the trailer cuts to briefly at 0:21 is an actual option within the game. There’s also a brief sequence, from 0:35-0:38 that shows an “Elder-scrolls-esque” first person style too. Needless to say, both look wonderful.
We should be hearing more of the game as E3 nears, and we here at Nichegamer will certainly be keeping an eye on it.

June 5, 2015 at 1:16 pmHoly hell. Grabbing the blade and using the hilt? Sword bouncing off armor as you pummel your enemy? Shoving an opponent using your blade against his? I think I’m in love. Media doesn’t depict sword fighting like this very often. Props to the devs.

June 5, 2015 at 1:19 pmLooks great! The fight has a great ‘weight’ to it that many other games don’t have when characters are fighting in plate mail.

June 5, 2015 at 5:51 pmThis a thousand times, my anus is so ready for this game. It’s nice to see a medieval game with realistic damage that doesn’t have stiff animations like Mount & Blade or War of the Roses. I’ll probably have to upgrade my PC for it though

June 6, 2015 at 11:55 pmYeah, it looks like plate armor really works like it should too, with most blows glancing off.
