We’ve learned that Koji Igarashi’s Castlevania spiritual successor is getting a full reveal this coming Monday, May 11th.
The news was confirmed over on the project’s teaser website, which you can view below:
In case you don’t know who Kinda Funny Games are, they’re a group of streamers/let’s players made up of former IGN staff, including Greg Miller and Colin Moriarty. It gets more interesting as Colin even went onto his personal Twitter, to further tease the coming reveal:
“Oh, yeah. I knew I had something to tell you. It’s
#IGAvania time. Hosted by yours truly. =) See you Monday!”
Previously, we covered the entire development of the teaser, leading up to the above teaser message. Finally, Koji Igarashi himself sat down to play Castlevania: Symphony of the Night with Double Fine senior gameplay programmer Anna Kipnis, as part of their ongoing series, Devs Play.
You can find the two hour walkthrough featuring Koji Igarashi below:
We’ll throw up an article for the livestream roughly an hour before it starts, so that you can all hang out with us and we can get hyped together. Expect our initial report immediately after the game’s reveal – so please check back with us later.
