Project X Zone 2: Brave New World is Possibly Leaked

project x zone 04-10-15-1

We’ve learned (in a now-edited article) from Italian website E-Duesse (via NeoGAF) that Bandai Namco’s teaser website is going to reveal a sequel to 2013’s Project X Zone.

For now, classify this as a rumor, but the Italian website listed Saint Seiya: Soldiers’ Soul (which we just got confirmation for), alongside Project X Zone 2: Brave New World. It’s worth mentioning the article originally cited these reveals as they came during a “Level Up” press conference in Milan, Italy.

We’ll keep you guys posted.

Hopefully it won’t suffer from the problems X Zone 1 had. That was a great 20-30 hour experience… contained in a 50-60 hour game.

you beat it?!? 30 hours in I saw I was just shy of under halfway and couldn’t bring myself to do anymore. It wasn’t that it wasn’t a good time, it was just that every level took an hour to beat, and you could miss things or screw something up, or God forbid, fail, and be forced to play it again.

I didn’t play the first one because everywhere I looked said it sucked

Would be nice if true, I hope localization goes faster this time.

Hopefully they actually take advantage of having Sega and Capcom properties in the same thing and make Dante and Bayonetta interact.

Assuming similar gameplay, it’d be nice to see Mistral or Elk show up for the changeable third among .hack// characters. Assuming those games get used again.

It’s not so much that it sucked, so much as it dragged on for far longer than it really needed to. Like Taedirk said, it’s a great 20-30 hour experience, stuck in a game twice as long.
To elaborate on that though: The gameplay was decent, it’s just the plot ended up going in circles with itself too often to keep breaking the characters up into different groups. Had they not used the constant splitting to basically repeat the same sorts of scenes and done some new stuff, or just avoid the constant splitting, it would’ve been great.

Yes please. For all the problems the first one had, I still really enjoyed it. A sequel offers so many chances to fix problems and deliver more fun.
