New J-Stars Victory VS+ Videos For Bleach, Gintama, and Assassination Classroom

j-stars victory vs plus koro-sensei 2015-04-04

Bandai Namco have released two new trailers for their upcoming Western localization of J-Stars Victory VS+. J-Stars is a pop culture fighting game whose conceit is to bring popular Japanese manga and anime characters together to duke it out.

The previous three Western trailers were for Beelzebub and Chinyuki, Dragon Ball Z, and Dr. Slump and Tottemo! Luckyman.

You can also watch a recent livestream about DBZ‘s Vegeta and the game’s arcade mode over on Twitch.

J-Stars Victory VS+ will launch this summer for the Playstation 4, Playstation 3, and Playstation Vita outside of Japan (the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and Australasia), with English subtitles and Japanese audio. Both physical copies and digital downloads will be available.

Bleach

The Bleach video shows Ichigo Kurosaki and Sosuke Aizen fighting each other. Bandai Namco describes Bleach, a manga which was later adapted as an anime, so:

Ichigo Kurosaki is a normal teenager except for one minor detail: he sees ghosts. After Rukia Kuchiki bestows the job of ‘Soul Reaper’ on him, Ichigo assumes the mantle of ridding the world of deadly spirits known as Hollows. A tale of growth and survival that spans the worlds of the living and dead.

Gintama vs Assassination Classroom

The second trailer has Gintama‘s Gintoki Sakata going up against Koro-sensei of Assassination Classroom.

Gintama: When yorozuya Gintoki Sakata saves Shinpachi Shimura from aliens, he sets in motion a chain of events that leads to their encounter with Kagura, an extraterrestrial from the Yato Clan. A satirical sci-fi comedy with unforgettable characters.

Assassination Classroom: When a strange new teacher announces his plan to destroy Earth unless someone succeeds in assassinating him before the school year is out, the lackluster students of Kunugigaoka Junior High’s 3-E class set about plotting to stop him… A school-centric tale with a macabre twist.
