Bravely Second: End Layer Stream Shows New Locations, Chomper Maker Mini-Game, and More

This is the second in what is apparently a series of lengthy streams that Square Enix is holding for the upcoming sequel to Bravely Default, titled Bravely Second: End Layer, ahead of its release. There’s a lot less talking in this video than there was in the previous one, so just click play and watch. We’re treated to exploration of new locations in the world, a mini-game about making Chomper plushies, new characters, conversation scenes, music, artwork, more of the characters’ renderings in different jobs (more of which you can see here), and even battle in special bonus costumes that Japanese players can get. There’s a lot here. Dig in!

A new trailer was released a few days ago, too, so watch that if you haven’t yet.

Bravely Second: End Layer is due for the 3DS in Japan on April 23. It doesn’t have a Western release date yet, but considering how successful the first RPG was, it will likely be getting a Western localization at some point.
