• Mortal Kombat X Introduces Cage Family, Johnny, Sonya, and Cassie in New Trailer

    In a video that wouldn’t be out of place among ’90s action cinema, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment officially introduce us to the Cage fighters, action star Johnny Cage, now ex-wife Sonya Blade, and their daughter, special forces Cassie. Shinnok and what appears to be Kenshi also make an appearance in the cinematics here. You can watch the footage above.

    Just yesterday we discovered that Mileena is in fact confirmed to be returning as a playable character in MKX, and a while ago Cassie Cage, Jacqueline “Jacqui” Briggs, Takashi Takeda, and Kung Jin were all confirmed to be part of the roster, too. There are supposed to be at least 24 playable characters, which means there are still another seven playables to be announced (not counting Goro, who is a pre-order bonus).

    Mortal Kombat X has a worldwide release date of April 14. It will be available for PC, Playstation 4, Playstation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.
