Terra Battle’s “Downloadstarter” Reaches 1.6 Million, Gets Music by Kenji Ito

Mistwalker’s Terra Battle mobile game has been downloaded more than 1.6 million times. As a thank you, we get more new music, this time from composer Kenji Ito. You can listen to it above. The next milestone, 1.7 million downloads, will net players a new song from Yoko Shimomura.

The 1.6 million mark means there are officially less than 400,000 downloads to go before Niche Gamer can add more platform tags to this title. For those who don’t know, the 2-million-downloads goal is when Mistwalker will begin porting this game to (as yet unspecified) consoles.

Previously, when the game reached 1.2 million downloads, Nobuo Uematsu composed new music for it.

Terra Battle, a bare-bones, tile-based, tactical RPG, is available for download on iOS and Android mobile devices through their respective app stores.
