XSEED Games have released a new trailer and screenshots for Story of Seasons that introduce players to Oak Tree Town.

“Story of Seasons is the beginning of a new chapter in the Bokujo Monogatari series”, reads the press release that was published alongside the new marketing material. The Bokujo Monogatari series lets players cultivate fruits and vegetables, customize farms, care for animals, and build relationships and start families. This new game is claimed to have a larger variety of seeds, pets, and other ways in which players can customize their farms. There’s a “new theme of ‘connectivity’, as trading with other countries will help grow the player’s crop variety and wallet, as well as the prosperity of the entire town.” Players will also be able to connect locally via WiFi to visit each other’s farms and tend crops as a team, “expanding both their harvests and their friendships.”

Story of Seasons is exclusive to the Nintendo 3DS, and will be available both as a physical release and digitally through the Nintendo eShop. No release date has been announced yet.
