We originally covered AEROBAT when it first blasted onto Steam Greenlight.

The game, developed entirely by a single man, Matthew Yeager, was amazingly greenlit in only two days. The news was confirmed by Yeager over on his personal Twitter account.

It kind of makes sense, when you press play on the above trailer and let your eyeballs be assaulted by color and wonder. Yeager describes the game as “gaming’s Citizen Kane if Citizen Kane was about fighter jets and robots and rainbow lasers and explosions.” I still can’t get over that quote.
