Screens of Sengoku Basara 4: Sumeragi’s Generals, Combat, and Zestiria Costumes

Capcom has released new screenshots for the Sumeragi standalone expansion to the action game, Sengoku Basara 4.

Sengoku Basara 4: Sumeragi will release in Japan this summer for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, and will include new characters, gameplay, and game modes.

Playable generals

Three new generals, Sen no Rikyu, Ashikaga Yoshiteru, and Kyugoku Maria, will be playable in Sumeragi.

Sen no Rikyu

Rikyu is based on a historical figure. Deviating from history, the Rikyu in the game will have a split personality of some sort, and will use his fans as weapons.

Ashikaga Yoshiteru

Previously an NPC, Ashikaga uses a special scepter that changes form from katana to spear to bow. His playstyle revolves around some sort of roulette.

Kyugoku Maria

Kyugoku Maria was an NPC in the previous game, but this time she’s a playable character. She will use her long cloth in combat, and has special abilities that make use of the curious weapon.

Battle Roulette system

Battle will involve a roulette system of some sort. Depending on what a player chances on the roulette on the battlefield, a certain “Medal Soldier” will appear. If destroyed before they escape, the Soldier drops medals, which players can exchange for various prizes.
