Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number Has a Release Window and Gameplay Video

Publishers Devolver Digital intend for Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number to reach the public in the first quarter of 2015, so expect it any time from now through March.

They’ve also announced a special Collector’s Edition, which you can preorder from iam8bit. It contains three vinyl records of the game’s soundtrack, and a collectible phone card which contains the download codes for the game and the soundtrack on Steam. Returning artists include El Huervo, M|O|O|N, and Perturbator, and artists new to the series include Magic Sword, Megadrive, and Mitch Murder.

The sequel to Hotline Miami will be set before and after the events of the original. It will be the last game in the series.

You can view some of the gameplay on the Playstation Vita above, from the Playstation Experience that was held a few weeks ago.

Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number will be available for all three supported Playstation platforms, the PS3, PS4 and Vita, as well as all PC platforms.

Probably the only game where I am more excited for the soundtrack than the game itself. It is supposed to ship with a powerful level editor, so we can look forward to some community levels after finishing the main game.
