It seems like SNK Playmore is planning on re-releasing The King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match.

The news comes via a rating listed on the Korean Rating Board, curiously with Sony Computer Entertainment Korea as the publisher. This leads us to believe this is simply a PS2 Classic, and that it will join lots of other classic fighters on the network.

It’s worth noting that Sony has done the digital distribution for a bunch of developers, so it’s sort of uncertain if this is going to in fact be a PS2 Classic, or an enhanced port. We’re leaning towards simply a PS2 Classic, but that’s all we’ve got for now.
