Thanks to Daum Games, Black Desert is getting a sudden release move-up. Supposedly, the hype and excitement of the Western community pushed the release date up. The developers plan on bringing the game to Western markets (Europe and North America) in 2015, as opposed to the original nebulous release planned for … who knew when?

The best part is that Daum is working with the original Korean developer, Pearl Abyss. Rather than finding a suitable Western publisher, they decided to expand westward themselves. The game will likely remain a free-to-play title, like it is in Korea, and if the same company is handling both markets, we may actually see some timely updates! Good news.
