Megaman Battle Network 2 Coming to Wii U In Japan

With the release of Megaman Battle Network on the Virtual Console now months behind us, Nintendo has unveiled their release of Battle Network 2. The game is set to be available on the Wii U Virtual Console in Japan on November 12th.

Unfortunately, no details have been given regarding a NA or EU release yet, but hopefully that is soon to come. I know I’m excited to be able to play Battle Network 2 again, as it’s the game in the series I remember most clearly. (Although, I distinctly remember liking 3 better.)

Hopefully these two titles signal the start of the release of all the Battle Network games, which are probably some of the best games I played on GBA. They’d be just as much of a pleasure to play again on the Wii U.

I'm a pretty chill guy. Huge video game fan, but a bigger anime fan. I also love to write - obviously.

“Hopefully though, these two releases are the beginning of the release of all the Battle Network games – they are probably some of the best games I played back on GBA”

I think I can count on one hand the number of times someone has said something that I agree with more than this.

The Battle Network games were probably the series I put the most time on back on the GBA overall. ‘Course, it comes from the sheer number of them, so they beat out Golden Sun and Fire Emblem, but I’ll be damned if Battle Network wasn’t a fantastic series.
