Indie developer Skeleton Hand is working on a strange amalgamation that involves equal parts tactical strategy, trading card game replayability, and board game antics.

Featured above, you can view a pretty all-encompassing trailer for the game. The developers have put this project up on Kickstarter, hoping to net $48,000 dollars. Succeeding at Incarnate is the result of a combination of utilizing your deck, the terrain, and your critical thinking.

Incarnate is a thoughtfully constructed universe involving a wide range of monsters and deities, and provides plenty of options to you, no matter what playstyle you prefer. You can focus on building up your customized avatar, or improving your deck.

Key to Incarnate is the fact that not every match is the same, as the PVE levels are roguelike in nature and completely randomized. If you’re of the competitive mentality, there’s also a PVP ladder system in which you can battle for the title of grandmaster (or something equivalent).

If you’re looking to back the project, you can find the Kickstarter for Incarnate here. Should the game be funded, it will come to PC, Mac, iOS, and Wii U.
