Tides of Numenera Hits New Stretch Goal

Tides of Numenera, the next big Kickstarter CRPG coming to us from Brian Fargo’s inXile studio, seems to still be a favorite amongst the crowdfunding site: it’s just hit yet another desired stretch goal. Hitting the $4.75m goal has opened up more of the game’s world, adding what the developers say is another 10% more to the game’s already robust list of content.

More detail about what exactly is added is available straight from their website:

All pledges are applied to improving Torment: Tides of Numenera, but with this Stretch Goal, one specific improvement we can commit to is restoring the Gullet to the Bloom, per George Ziets’ original design. We had cut this area to control scope of the Bloom zone. Restoring it to the design would complete George’s original vision for the Bloom and increase its scope by roughly 10%.

Things are looking good for Fargo and company, with Wasteland 2 still garnering rave reviews and the hype train for Numenera yet chugging happily along. The game, which will hopefully be the Planescape successor we want it to be, should hit digital download services in the 4th Quarter of 2015.
