Bandai Namco has revealed the debut gameplay for Hajime no Ippo: The Fighting.

Featured above, you can view the gameplay for the brawling video game adaptation of the anime with the same name. When in the ring, you’ll duke it out with your opponents from a third person perspective.

I’ve got to admit, they’ve really nailed the stylization of both the characters as well as the combat itself – those punches look downright painful at times!

Hajime no Ippo: The Fighting is heading to Japan on December 11th.
