Previously, we’ve covered goat simulator, cat simulator, grass simulator, rock simulator, farming simulator, bear simulator, cow simulator, cow-girl farmer simulator, and even a mountain simulator. Now we’ve learned of the recently announced Jelly Reef from Dutch indies Game Oven, which may not be called “Jellyfish Simulator”, but let’s not kid ourselves – that’s exactly what fans are asking for.

While you don’t manually control the jellyfish itself, you can manipulate the ocean’s currents to help guide your jellyfish around enemies and obstacles. If you manage to wrangle a bunch of jellyfish together and lead them to jelly eggs, they’ll hatch even more of the jelly brood, thus furthering their dominance over the oceans. From there you can progress through the game’s various levels, although the clear goal is to properly guide your jellyfish horde.

Jelly Reef is coming to Windows Phone later this year with iOS and Android versions to come sometime in 2015.
