The Seven Deadly Sins: Unjust Sin is Revealed for 3DS

Bandai Namco is working on a video game adaptation of the anime/manga The Seven Deadly Sins. The game is confirmed for the 3DS, and it’s dubbed simply The Seven Deadly Sins: Unjust Sin.

Featured above, you can view a teaser trailer for the title, which shows off a good amount in game footage. The combat seems to be a side-scrolling beat ’em up, instead of the ever popular adventure/visual novel type adaptation we’ve been seeing lately.

Players will be able to travel and progress through various stages, and you can experience different fighting styles by picking different characters. You can even improve your characters’ abilities by taking on quests at the Pig’s Hat Tavern, which is your base of operations.

The confirmed playable characters include: Meliodas, Hawk, King, Elizabeth, Diane, Ban, and Gowther. Fan-favorite stages like the Dalmally Village, Lyonesse Vicinity, and the Baste Dungeon are going to be in game. Series illustrator Nakaba Suzuki is also doing artwork that will appear within the game.

Development on The Seven Deadly Sins: Unjust Sin is roughly 40% percent complete, and a release date or price were not confirmed. If you’re waiting in anticipation of the anime, The Seven Deadly Sins anime will begin airing in October.
