Monolith Productions and Warner Bros. have revealed a new trailer for Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor at this year’s San Diego Comic Con.

Featured above, the trailer shows off both new characters (like protagonist Talion) but also some famous characters from Tolkien lore, specifically Gollum and Celebrimbor, the Elven smith who forged the rings of power (who you initially know as The Bright Lord).

I’ve got to say, this game is making a die-hard Tolkien fan as myself squeal with glee in seeing the careful treatment of such a beloved series. I’m counting down the days until the game launches in its recently confirmed September and early October release.
