Fear the Killer Rabbit of Caerbannog in Minecraft’s Latest Update

Mojang has revealed the next snapshot update for Minecraft – and it brings with it the usual bug fixes, an improved debug world type, and …… bunny rabbits?

Featured above, you can see Youtuber docm77 testing out the incredibly rare killer rabbit of Caerbannog, which seems to be a one in a thousand chance to spawn in your Minecraft worlds. If it does spawn, you better run like the dickens because that thing is not only terrifying – it’s a one hit kill.

There is a regular, non-lethal but still dangerous and hostile bunny, as well as “toast” the rabbit, providing eight different varieties of rabbits in the game. If you kill a rabbit, they drop leather, rabbit meat, and a rabbit’s foot – which is used for crafting a potion of leaping. Oh, and you can even breed the rabbits to your heart’s content.
