Ms. Splosion Man Breaks Up With GFWL

In what is now considered a mass exodus of the once large (and annoying) Microsoft download service “Games for Windows Live”, Twisted Pixel’s Ms. Splosion Man has now joined an ever-growing list of defectors as it too swaps the soon-to-be-shuttering marketplace for the cushier confines of Valve’s Steam.

Ms. Splosion man joins other recently unshackled GFWL games such as Street Fighter IV, Bioshock 2, DiRT 3, and the Arkham series; all of which were given re-launch sales on Steam when they switched to Valve’s steamworks DRM.

Somewhat conveniently, this switch-over has been timed with a nice 75% sale of the game on Steam’s recently started summer wallet draining extravaganza. If ever you’ve been on the fence about playing this well-received platformer, now would certainly be the time to take the plunge.
