Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley Combines the Roots of the Series With a Dash of Minecraft

Natsume has finally given their fans who didn’t make it to E3 2014 a look at Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley, their continuation of the series while XSEED Games rebrands the Marvelous developed games.

Featured above, you can see a trailer showing off the game running in engine, on the 3DS. Clearly, the game really does look like a throwback to older games within the series, and like it adopts some Minecraft like mechanics, just like we found in our E3 preview. The game is promising to have “the most freedom you’ve ever had in a Harvest Moon game,” coupled with returning and new features, and a “unique and charming” cast of characters.
