Nintendo has revealed a fun new shooter for the Wii U titled simply Splatoon.

The third person shooter features four on four multiplayer where the players are supposed to take over as much ground as possible – by covering it with ink.

The most area you cover, the more you’ll be able to move around and take advantage of the environment, whether it be hiding in the ink (in squid form), or moving through it a quick speeds.

You’ll be able to see a real time map of the game world that shows what areas are covered in whichever colored ink.

Splatoon is coming to Wii U in 2015.
