Dark Souls II is Getting a Trilogy of Downloadable Content

Bandai Namco has just announced a trilogy of downloadable content chapters for Dark Souls II.

All three chapters are set for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC sometime this summer.

‘The Lost Crowns’ trilogy is comprised of:

  • ‘Crown of the Sunken King’ – The first chapter in the trilogy, this will launch on July 22 for PC and Xbox 360, and July 23 for PlayStation 3. It sends players on a journey to reclaim the crowns that Drangleic’s King Vendrick once owned. It features an entirely different world within the Dark Souls II universe, where stepped pyramids span a vast underground cavern. It is said that one of the ancient crowns lay buried deep within these dark caverns; but surely such a valued item cannot sit unguarded. Players that seek adversity and glory will be rewarded with a crown that holds the strength of lords from times long past.
  • ‘Crown of the Old Iron King’ – The second chapter in the trilogy, it will launch on August 26 for PC and Xbox 360, and on August 27 for PlayStation 3.
  • ‘Crown of the Ivory King’ – The final chapter in the trilogy, it will launch on September 23 for PC and Xbox 360, and September 24 for PlayStation 3.

A reminder – these dates are only for the European launch, as we still haven’t gotten the North American press release yet.

A season pass for the trilogy is now available for purchase on PC and Playstation 3.
