We reported on a potential leak for a brand new Pokemon fighting game back in August called Pokken Fighters, and or Pokken Tournament.

Since then, nothing else has come to light regarding the leaked images and the trademarks that were filed, until now. We’ve come to notice that The Pokemon Company has registered trademarks in Europe for “Pokken Fighters and “Pokken Tournament.”

The filings were made on May 1st, and they match the trademarks made back in August within the United States. Could this be the precursor to an official announcement at E3? We’ll keep you guys posted.
