When I hear action/adventure I think of game like God of War, but when I saw the screenshots for Source, I instantly thought that this could be the most visually stunning game I have ever seen.
Source is a new action/adventure game being developed by Fenix Fire, a small indie team based out of California, that is currently on Kickstarter.
The game takes place in an alternate dimension where the player controls a firefly type creature. The world is being devoured and literally torn apart by a dark energy. It is your destiny, as the last of your kind, to stop the dark energy from destroying everything.
In Source you will have to explore vast lands, solve mind-bending puzzles, and face huge creatures, some good and some bad. You will have a plasma and energy beam to help you tackle problems that come in your way.
Some key features in Source are an upgrade system for your beams, real-time combat, challenging puzzles, and beautiful visuals that help dynamically unfold the story as there will be no cut-scenes or narrative.
Source even sports an original soundtrack that will seamlessly change during the game. Fenix Fire says the soundtrack will be more like a movie, very cinematic and moving.
Source will be released around August 2015 for PS4, Xbox One, and has the Steam Greenlight. It is also on Kickstarter until Sunday May 11th.
