To Leave, the Ecuadorian Tale of Complacency and Unhappiness, is Coming to PS4 and Vita

To Leave is a game by Ecuadorian based development studio Freaky Creations, and it’s coming to both Playstation 4 and Playstation Vita later this year, alongside the previously confirmed PC, Mac, and Linux releases.

The game is about a boy named Harm, who is desperately trying to leave his hometown of Candice. The game is described as a metaphor for the various challenges of life, like being stuck in a job you hate, or with a person you later dislike, or just simply being complacent.

Check out a trailer for the game below:

One of the coolest things about To Leave is that it was developed within the Sony Computer Entertainment’s Latin America Incubation Program, a bold new initiative to help foster development communities in Latin American countries to make games on Playstation consoles. To help make this happen, Sony loans out development kits to game-makers for no cost, and gives them access to Sony’s developer support portal.
