Following the layoffs at Evolution Studios, Guerilla Cambridge, SCE London, Sony Santa Monica, as well as key developers Stig Asmussen and James Griesemer departing their respective teams at Sony, we’ve learned that yet another talented developer is parting ways with Sony.

Seth Killian has left Sony Computer Entertainment Santa Monica Studio, news that he confirmed via his personal twitter:

“Hi guys, I chose to leave my Sony family back in Dec + on great terms. I was inspired by their amazing indies to do my own thing.”

He continued with a tease at what is left to be revealed at Sony:

“You’ll see the games I had the privilege to work on at Sony soon–[Santa Monica Studio] has a STELLAR lineup coming. As for what I’m up to, stay tuned…”

Killian is a former community manager at Capcom, and he moved to Sony to be the lead game designer for the external development group, Sony Computer Entertainment Santa Monica Studio, where they oversaw both internally developed games, and helped third parties get their games to Playstation platforms.
