Straight from this week’s Dengeki Playstation, we’ve learned the real name for Gust’s latest game set within the Atelier series. As mentioned in our previous report, the game is the third entry in the “Dusk” sub-series of Atelier games, and is titled Atelier Shari: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea.

Set for a release on June 26th in Japan, the standard edition will cost 6,800 yen, the digital version will cost 6,000 yen, and a Premium Box version will cost 9,800 yen. The latter comes with a drama CD, and a four disc special music collection. Just like Atelier Escha & Logy, Atelier Shari will have two protagonists, however, they’re both girls this time, and both of their names can be shortened to Shari.

Sharistella (voice actress: Kotori Koiwai)

(Pictured right on the Dengeki cover) She’s a 16 year old alchemist, and she comes from a family that has been protecting an ancient relic of alchemical power. She took the position of head of the family after their death, and she has to find a way to save her hometown, which is close to disappearing. The story begins when she sets off on a journey towards Strard, the oasis town.

Charlotte Eluminus (voice actress: Sumire Uesaka)

(Pictured left on the Dengeki cover) She’s an 18 year old alchemist with lacking alchemist skills. After her father Strard passed away, she took over running the Atelier shop in his memory. Despite this, she definitely lacks the skill and experience to make a living as an alchemist, so she became somewhat of an imposter.

The story in the game progresses in a new “Life Tasks” system, which is meant to give players more of an objective based experience as you go through the three step-system: explore, mix, and battle. Once the current Life Task is completed, the story will finally continue.
