In the fallout of dozens of developers being laid off at Sony, we’ve heard that two notable figureheads have parted ways with Sony as well.

James Griesemer, the lead designer on inFAMOUS: Second Son, confirmed that he left Sucker Punch Productions. Second Son is the third game in the inFAMOUS series, and it’s set to arrive this Friday.

“I’m excited for people to get their hands on it,” Griesemer stated on his personal Twitter. He added “And yes, I have left SP. Not really talking about it yet, tho.”

Finally, sources at IGN confirmed that Stig Asmussen, the director of God of War III, has left Sony Santa Monica studio. Asmussen was supposedly working on a brand new IP, only to have it quietly cancelled. He is reportedly interviewing at other studios already for a new position.
