It’s only been a week or so since Forbidden Magna, the new simulation RPG from Marvelous AQL, was revealed – but it hasn’t taken long for a developer to show interest in localizing the game. XSEED Games, a Japanese localizing powerhouse, has shown interest in the title on their official Facebook:
“We just learned about it ourselves, but agree that it looks great. We can’t wait to get our hands on it and check it out ourselves eventually.”
This is good news for fans of Neverland Company, which recently closed its doors for good after filing for bankruptcy, as the game is directed by Rune Factory director Masahide Miyata, among other staffers who were hired internally within Marvelous AQL.
They went even further to respond to a fan who asked specifically if they were interested in localizing the game for North America, to which they gave an interesting reply:
“Yep, completely agree that Forbidden Magna is looking great. We’ll be keeping our eyes on it.”
Forbidden Magna is scheduled for a release sometime this year, in Japan.
