• Blade Arcus from Shining is the New 2D Fighter Shining Game

    As promised, a new Shining game is coming, although it’s probably not what old school fans of the series were hoping for.

    Sega has announced Blade Arcus from Shining, a new 2D arcade fighter, at the Japan Amusement Expo in Chiba today. While it won’t get any awards for its terrible naming convention, it looks pretty solid already.


    The confirmed characters thusfar are Rage and Sakuya from Shining Blade, and the newcomers Won Pairon and Ryuga, who are both designed by the Shining series character designer Tony Taka.

    Blade Arcus from Shining is going to begin its operations this summer in Japan, and it has yet to be confirmed for home consoles.
