NIS America has confirmed that they’re localizing the Playstation 3 side-scrolling beat-em-up RPG, Battle Princess of Arcadias. The game will be coming westward sometime this year to both North America and Europe via the Playstation Network.

The story follows the adventures of Battle Princess Plume, a princess who has set out to restore peace and order to her once beautiful Schwert Kingdom. The lands are now overrun with monsters, and levels will enable players to fight through skirmishes and bosses, while also upgrading their characters, skills, materials and weapons.

But now it’s been overrun by monsters, and as the Battle Princess Plume, it’s up to you to set things right in this colorful, highspeed action RPG!
