Double Dragon Neon holds a special place in my heart, as it’s a modern re-imagining of one of my favorite classic games, while retaining the humor and silliness seen (although unintentionally) in said classic games.
Aside from the brightly lit neon colors and super corny one liners frequently uttered from various characters, the Steam version will also come with a brand new online co-op mode, a feature that was missing from the console versions.

Despite the game getting mixed reviews on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, I still had a blast playing it with a friend via couch co-op. Now that Abstraction has added online co-op, the game will definitely be tempting for PC users, although it remains to be seen if online co-op will be hitting the console versions.
Double Dragon Neon is set to release on Steam some time in the first quarter of this year.
