That Christmas teaser that Compile Heart had up is for a brand new game called Genkai Totsuki Moero Chronicle.
The game is similar in style and pandering as its predecessor Genkai Totsuki Monster Monpiece, although it drops the card-battling for 3D dungeon crawling. Compile Heart describes the game as a “rubbing, pinching, panty-wearing RPG.” The game is being produced by Norihisa Kochiwa, directed by Makoto Kitano, and character designs by Katsuyuki Hirano.
A boy named Io is troubled with profane thoughts swirling within himself. He feels like he is unable to talk to girls without fear of being called a pervert. On top of this internal strife, the only person he can honestly speak to is a monster girl named Lilia, a childhood friend, until he starts developing feelings towards her as well. He begins hating himself after realizing this.
Soon after he developed feelings for his monster friend, catastrophes started arising around the world. Scattered across the globe, natural disasters erupted. Monster girls suddenly became hostile towards humans, forcing the whole of humanity to make a stand against the monster girls.
There is gossip of a “Legendary Monster Girl,” who is actively trying to destroy the world.
Io was ordered to investigate the origins of the monster girl attacks by his village elder. He acts like nothing is wrong, and asks his childhood friend, Lilia, to accompany him with his adventures. Io and Lilia have a two-tailed monster cat named Reche.
