Cave is known for making pretty insane, yet expected shmups like Deathsmiles and DoDonPachi. 

Now they’ve uncovered a new shmup they’ve had in the works, called simply Don Paccin, and it has loads of bright, vibrant visuals. Don’t let those visuals throw you off though, the game has a lot of depth, if this debut trailer is anything to go by.

The game mixes up the shmup formula a bit by allowing you to upgrade your ship with various new abilities and weapons. You also have to be mindful of your fuel levels, and keep an eye out for randomly dropped items.

Don Paccin is in development for both iOS and Android devices.
