Mutant League Football Returns Via Crowdfunding

Mutant League Football was a parody sports game of sorts, released way back in the early 90’s for the Sega Genesis. It spawned a spin-off, a cartoon, action figures, and a fiendish fanbase.

Now, the creator of the series is back for more, wanting to make a true successor to the classic game. The kickstarter funded reboot will feature a new storyline, new characters and environments and of course, lots of new ways to kill each other.

If you were a fan of the original, you should check out their kickstarter and see all of their goals. The game will be released on mobile devices and Xbox Live Arcade with their initial goal of $750K, but with a little less than a month remaining, we’ll see what happens.
