Check Out Pokemon Bank and the Mega Forms of Blastoise, Charizard and Venusaur

Pokemon Bank

Nintendo has fully revealed the mega evolution system in Pokemon X & Y. Mega evolutions only take place during a single battle, and they require a bracelet called the Mega Ring. This is used in combination with the “Mega Stone.” Furthermore, a strong bond between the Pokemon and its trainer is require for you to unlock its potential.

Also revealed today is the Pokemon cloud storage system called Pokemon Bank. If you pay the annual fee, you can upload up to 3000 Pokemon to 100 individual boxes and be able to access them, anytime, anywhere with an internet connection.


There is another program called Pokemon Transporter, which will allow you to transfer Pokemon between Pokemon Black, White, their sequels, and Pokemon X & Y.

Finally, Nintendo announced that the limited edition Pokemon X and Y-themed blue and red 3DS bundles will be coming to North America for $199 on September 27.

Mega Blastoise – The two rocket launchers on Blastoise’s shoulders turn into a single huge cannon when it Mega Evolves into Mega Blastoise. This cannon boasts a blast range so great that it can strike targets more than six miles away!

Mega Venusaur – When Venusaur becomes Mega Venusaur, the flower on the Pokémon’s back blooms even more fantastically than before. Its legs and frame become more sturdy to support the weight of the huge flower. After it Mega Evolves, Mega Venusaur’s Ability changes to Thick Fat, which gives it some protection against two of its weaknesses: Fire-type moves and Ice-type moves.

Mega Charizard РWhen Charizard becomes Mega Charizard, its pointed horns and long tail give the Pok̩mon a look of sleek sharpness. Mega Charizard is in a league of its own when it comes to flying prowess, able to reach incredible heights. When Charizard Mega Evolves, its wings become larger than ever.

Pokémon X and Pokémon Y are coming on October 12th worldwide.
