Despite Phil Fish cancelling Fez II and leaving the games industry over a twitter battle between Gametrailers journalist Marcus Beer, the team at Polytron have picked up the pieces left over and have put together a port of the still excellent original Fez game.

Fez on Sony platforms is being handled by Spanish studio Blit Software, the same developers who are handling the Spelunky port on PS3 and Vita. It seems that the port of Fez will come with no enhancements, the developers are only striving for visual and performance parity with the original.
