If you missed out on Half-Minute Hero, the game took classic JRPG gameplay and put a big spin on it – you were extremely limited in both movement and attacks, as the clock was literally working against you.

Now, the team who brought you Half-Minute Hero are working on a more lenient game called simply 100-Turn Hero, and it’s coming to iOS devices in Japan next January.

The only solid details we have are that like Half-Minute Hero, you’ll be fighting against the clock as you struggle to save the world. The other noteworthy bit of information is that you’ll be given exactly 100 attacks for each level.

100-Turn Hero is launch on January 17th for 100, or roughly a dollar. Since Half-Minute Hero’s sequel was never localized, the outlook for 100-Turn Hero is cloudy. We’ll keep you guys posted.
