Fall Guys is going free to play

Publisher Devolver Digital and developer Mediatonic announced Fall Guys is going free to play alongside its Xbox and Switch ports.

While Fall Guys is going free to play on June 21st, the new free release will coincide with its Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Epic Games Store vresions. All versions of the party battle game will support cross-play and cross-progression.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout was originally released for Windows PC (via Steam) and PlayStation 4 back in 2020. In case you missed it, you can find our review here.

Mediatonic noted that owners of the game on Steam will continue to get updates but the game will no longer be available to purchase on Steam after its Epic Games Store release. Furthermore, Mediatonic revealed a stage builder is currently in development but has time before it can be released.
