Nintendo President Tatsumi Kimishima Set to Retire on June 28

Nintendo has announced a number of changes to their upper management, including the retirement of representative director and president Tatsumi Kimishima.

Kimishima will retire on June 28th, while current director and managing executive officer (he holds many other titles) Shuntaro Furukawa will take his place.


Furukawa first joined the company back in April of 1994, and is now 46 years old. He’s also the current general manager of their corporate planning department, in charge of global marketing, and more.
