• Wave Race Producer Teases Possible Return for Series

    We’ve learned a new Wave Race game might be in development.

    The news comes via Nintendo developer and Wave Race producer Shinya Takahashi, who teased “you may see that game again” in an interview with Fandom.


    He continued: “We have been trying to make many games, so that may be one of them… And I personally love Wave Race.”

    Wave Race is a water sports racing game franchise developed by Nintendo, which originally debuted on the Game Boy way back in 1992. It saw two sequels, Wave Race 64 in 1996 and Wave Race: Blue Storm in 2001.
