Level-5 has announced (via Ryokutya2089) Yo-kai Watch 4 for the Nintendo Switch.

The game will release for the hybrid console sometime this year in Japan, news confirmed by Level-5 CEO and president Akihiro Hino. The company boss also said the game will be a huge improvement over previous titles, and that it will have mechanics to please and surprise all types of gamers.

Characters from the Yo-kai Watch Shadowside anime (featured above) will also make an appearance within the game.
