Ubisoft has announced Far Cry 5 is the fastest-selling entry in the series, and the second largest release for a game in their company’s history.

The games total sales more than doubled that of the first week sales for Far Cry 4, with digital distribution making up more than half of its total sales. The only game to beat Far Cry 5 in terms of sales is Tom Clancy’s The Division.

Ubisoft also noted they saw record-breaking numbers of players involved with the game and its content, with more than 55,000 hours of streaming on Twitch, while YouTube videos raked in over 117 million views.
