Second Beta for Metal Gear Survive Coming February 16 to 18

Konami has announced a second beta for Metal Gear Survive.

The new beta will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One alongside the first PC beta, from February 16th to the 18th.

Players can expect the beta to include three missions across two-maps, and with cooperative mode. You can play cooperatively with up to four players online, and there will also be special daily missions.

Once you create your character, beta participants will get an in-game bonus for the full release (includes: a Fox Hound Name Plate, a Metal Gear REX Head accessory, and a Bandana accessory).

Metal Gear Survive is launching across Windows PC (via Steam), PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on February 20th in the Americas and February 22nd in Europe.

Since it’s free, might as well play it to see if it’s good. But even if it’s REALLY F*CKING GOOD (I very much doubt it) I’ll never buy it brand new. I’d prefer to give some money to a shady 3rd party reseller for a 1/3 of the price than buying new and give it to Konami.

Meh. The first beta was pretty dull after a while. The single player, and the other maps and game modes must be seriously good if they want to try and convince me it’s worth the £25.

Also, does anyone wanna take bets and guess when they add a Battle Royale mode?

As long as they add endless hordes of zombie-ish that you have to fight on top of the usual freeforall.

The map is just the Afghanistan map reworked slightly, unfortunately.
