So basically the three types of costumes will be an animal one, a classic one and a more out there one. I wonder if they’ll have any gameplay significance.

Also Athena having a Princess Athena alternate costume is a really nice touch.

  • Probably not, because accessory and costume customization will play a big role in the game’s appeal and aesthetic.

Nice to see there maybe a variety of costumes to pick. Im especially glad they added in their signature costumes. It helps to add more variety for those who might not like some of the risque outfits, so theres something for everyone. I still like Mai’s cow costume the best though >D

I Like how each costume have it’s own artwork.

I’m still surprised that NISA isnt censoring this game. But i have my doubts about the localization of it’s texts

I am worried about that too. In Criminal Girls they changed the text, I think they changed “punishment” into “incentive”. That is 1984 in more than one way.
Does anyone know if there was any changes in the company recently?

Their localization of Ys 8 was a huge disaster for reasons completely unrelated to censorship. I wouldn’t hold my breath for this one even if it actually is uncensored.

(although since it’s a fighting game the localization’s much less important than for an RPG or whatever)

It’s possible that the Ys 8 debacle has taught NISA a lesson, but I seriously doubt it. If they suddenly start putting out products that aren’t garbage, like several in a row, then I guess we’ll know.

    The models look so nice.
